Acne Peel Post-Care

Immediately After: Peel should be kept on for at least 4 hours unless it has been neutralized at the time of treatment. You can also sleep in the peel if done later at night. It is recommended to avoid makeup for 24 hours.

Tonight: Gently cleanse and apply moisturizer. Do NOT use your serums, acne med, or other 'active' products for 24 hours.

Tomorrow morning: Gentle wash, apply moisturizer and SPF (no mandelic). You may wear mineral makeup.

Tomorrow night: Resume night schedule including mandelic and/or other active products.

Days 2 - 3: Do NOT sweat for 24 hours, it can cause irritation and be uncomfortable. No swimming, hot tubs, or saunas for at least 48 hours. Sun exposure should be LIMITED to short times and should not be direct sunlight. You may experience flaking, which is OK and part of the exfoliating process. Do NOT pick! Allow the skin to exfoliate naturally. Some dryness is to be expected.

For best results: We recommend follow-up and repeat acne peels every 2 weeks to keep clearing the skin and adjusting your home care routine.

AdvaTX Post-Care

Immediately After: Your skin may feel tight, dry, or sensitive to touch. Brown spots will appear darker. Acne inflammation will subside 25% - 40% each treatment. Avoid strenuous exercises that cause sweating as well as jacuzzis, saunas, and steam baths/showers for 24 hours after treatment.

Day 1 - 3: You may continue your normal skincare routine, including the use of AHA’s, BHA’s, Retin-A, or Retinol after treatment. If redness or sensitivity occurs, wash your face and apply a cool compress or ice pack and discontinue use of AHA's, BHA's, Retin-A or Retinol until sensitivity has subsided. If sensitivity continues for more than 12 hours, contact Raw Rituale.

A 50 SPF should be worn every day. Do not peel or pick at loose skin or crusting, this will cause severe scarring and discoloration to the affected area. If crusting occurs, apply petroleum jelly or suggested post-laser balm to the affected area until healed. Keep skin well hydrated with appropriate moisturizer.

If you are prone to oral herpes, AdvaTX may cause a breakout, ask your doctor for a prophylactic treatment such as Valtrex (5 days before your treatment and 5 days after are optimal).

Day 5-7: Brown and red pigment will start to fade.

For best results: We recommend follow-up and repeat AdvaTX treatments every 2-4 weeks, with a series of 4-6 treatments depending on your personalized care plan.

Body Sculpt Post-Care

Immediately After: The area may be red and warm for 2–48 hours or longer. DO NOT use a sauna, hot tub, or excessively hot shower for 24 hrs. Drink plenty of water to help flush out fat.

Day 2-5: Common side effects include temporary redness and mild "deep heat" like effects that may last a few hours to 3-4 days or longer. Other effects including itching, numbness, hardness, warmth, tenderness, redness, swelling, burns, bruising, nodules, and blisters at the treatment area are usually transient and resolve within a few days.

It is recommended to massage the treated area after the treatment and up to 3-4 days post-treatment. Lymphatic massage will help results and reduce potential side effects.

For best results: A series of 3-6 treatments is recommended. Repeat visits are suggested every 3-4 weeks apart when treating 1-2 areas. Treating 3 or more areas should be spaced 4-6 weeks apart.

Maintenance: Additional sessions may be needed to maintain results. Maintenance varies depending on ongoing diet, lifestyle, and sun exposure (skin laxity). Cellulite can be revisited every 6-8 months, fat every 3-6 months, and skin laxity every 3 months. A single session, or more, may be advised.

Chemical Peel Post-Care

Sleep on your back with your head elevated to minimize swelling as needed. Avoid direct sun exposure and wear daily sunscreen of SPF 30+. After 24 hours you may apply makeup with a clean brush.

Day 2-5: Unless otherwise specified, gently wash with cool water, apply recommended product/moisturizer and SPF (day only). Dry and flaky skin may start 3-7 days after the treatment which is due to an increased turnover of skin cells. DO NOT pick, scratch, or scrub at treated skin! You must allow the old skin to flake off naturally and keep it moisturized.

Day 5-7: You may start all your regular skincare products once your skin no longer feels irritated, is dry or flaky. You should notice continued skin improvement over the next two months following your treatment.

For best results: You can dermaplane the flaky skin and hyperpigmentation off 7-10 days later for added benefits. We recommend follow-up and repeat chemical peels treatments every 4-6 weeks, with a series of 3-5 treatments depending on your personalized care plan.

Day 4 - 7: You may start all your regular skincare products again, once your skin no longer feels irritated, is dry or flaky. You should notice continued skin improvement over the next two months following your treatment.

Permanent Makeup Post-Care

Immediately After: Do not touch brows or the surrounding area for 24 hours. After 24 hours keep the brow area clean by using a gentle fragrance-free cleanser and water with freshly washed hands morning and night (2x/day). Use a q-tip with a gentle cleanser to clean. Do not use a washcloth or sponge and clean the area by moving in the direction of the hair growth. Allow eyebrows to air dry before applying a thin layer of aftercare ointment ( a rice grain amount per brow). DO NOT rub, pick, or scratch the treated area. Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate off. Picking can cause scarring and pigment loss.

Day 2+: Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, pools (chlorine is irritating), sauna, steam rooms, hot showers, and/or hot baths for 2 weeks. Avoid physical effort, gym, and any other activity that may cause excessive sweating for at least 5 and up to 14 days. Avoid sleeping on your face for the first 10 days.

NO makeup or skincare products are to be used on the treated area for two weeks. NO Botox around the brow area for two weeks after. NO facials, retinol, chemical treatments, and microdermabrasion on brows for 4 weeks. Avoid Retin-A close to the brow area. Eyebrow tinting should not be undertaken for 2 weeks after your procedure.

Sleep on your back with your head elevated to avoid brushing your face on your pillow and reduce swelling. Do not workout, or sweat for 48 hours. DO NOT WASH THE DOTS.

Tonight: Gently apply the recommended product. You can gently pat the area with sterile water on a cotton pad if weeping occurs.

Days 2–7: Tiny carbon crusts will form and will flake off on their own. Do NOT pick crusts off as this will delay the healing process and could cause scarring. You may VERY gently dab cleanse daily with lukewarm pre-boiled water and a soft, lint-free cloth or cotton round. You are only removing excess oil and do not need to thoroughly cleanse the treated skin. Pat dry with a clean tissue. Do NOT be tempted to rub or brush the area to aid the removal of the crusts. Must apply SPF 50+ every day. Apply recommended product in small amounts, up to 3 times a day, until scabs have formed and flaked off. Do not over-moisturize. Avoid direct shower contact. Avoid wearing contacts and shaving area until crusts have fallen off.

Days 7+: Once the crusts have all fallen off you may apply make-up but avoid using products containing glycolic or any other active exfoliating ingredients for 1 more week.
